Tips on wearing flip flops

During a completely bizarre hail storm today, Kinley decided she wanted to go outside and play in it. I told her to get some shoes and socks on and she could go out. Then she laid this wonderful bit advice of on me. "We shouldn't wear socks with our flip flops because it makes Jesus sad." When asked why he would be sad she responded with, "well I've never seen Jesus wear socks with his fancy sandals. It's probably cause it makes him sad." Silly me, I always thought that you didn't wear socks with flip flops because it looked ridiculous and felt uncomfortable.
